All views are mine, or my basset hounds'...

So what's with all the basset hounds?

Well... it's become evident to my wife and I that basset hounds are the leading life form, having captured our hearts for over 15 years and made us into their willing servants.

During this time we have had five of our own, and looked after more than 20 others. They are all characters and, whilst not easy, incredibly giving in terms of affection.

Whilst we don't currently have any, pending a break to consider longer term plans, we know we'll have more in future.
